Parkinson Canada relies on the expertise of its Medical Advisory Council for scientific and clinical relevance of existing and new resources. This team of experts across many disciplines ensures the information and resources we distribute is based on the latest evidence to manage and treat Parkinson’s disease symptoms.

Parkinson Canada advocates with federal, provincial and territorial governments on issues that matter to the Parkinson’s community in Canada. The Parkinson Canada Research Program funds innovative research to search for better treatments and a cure. Parkinson Canada is a founding partner of the Canadian Open Parkinson Network. C-OPN will increase collaboration across institutions and scientists to accelerate discoveries through a shared databank and biorepository.
